Fractured Jinx is the first in the line of Exalted Skinlines that Riot Games is bringing to League of Legends. These skins don’t just change the appearance of the Champion, they literally alter the gameplay mechanics in unique ways, without upsetting the balance of the game. For Jinx, we had the opportunity to once integrate and elevate gameplay capture through the use of design and animation. Jinx has an identifiable graphic personality that we tapped into. But it wasn’t just her Arcane persona we had to appeal to. We had to slightly push the design across the 3 different persona’s of Jinx that this fractured skinline evokes. The result is a stylish trailer built entirely from gameplay capture assets.
