A Franchise Underway
With the official launch for their Words + Music audiobook series behind them, Audible wanted to continue branding their beloved Audible Originals series as a franchise. Taking cues from its predecessor, we continued with the visual language of photography cutouts, handwritten notes, scraps of paper and paint strokes to really hone in on that handcrafted feel that embraces imperfection through the disjointedness of stop motion animation. Only this time we took Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark Jr., Smokey Robinson, Tom Morello, and Tenacious D along for the ride.
